1. Agreement

These Terms govern access to and use of the website and services of Pro American Van Lines (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By using the Site or booking services you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

We provide moving and related services as described in quotes, orders for service, and bills of lading. Service dates, windows, and delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly stated in writing.

3. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are estimates based on information provided by you. Final charges may vary due to actual inventory, access conditions, materials used, labor time, storage, fuel, tolls, and regulatory fees. Additional services requested or required will be billed at the applicable rates.

4. Bookings, deposits, and cancellations

• Bookings may require a deposit to secure a date
• Cancellations or rescheduling may incur fees depending on notice provided
• No-show or last-minute changes may result in forfeiture of deposits and additional charges

5. Customer responsibilities

• Provide accurate inventory, addresses, access details, and special handling needs
• Ensure legal right to move items and adequate parking or permits at all locations
• Pack items safely if self-packed and label fragile or high-value items
• Disclose hazardous, perishable, or prohibited items; these may be refused

6. Valuation, loss, and claims

Unless you purchase increased valuation protection in writing, shipments are covered at the minimum valuation required by law or by our tariff. Exclusions may apply for inherent vice, acts of God, improper packing by customer, and prohibited items. Report visible loss or damage at delivery when possible and submit written claims within the time limits stated in your bill of lading or tariff.

7. Payment terms

Payment is due as stated on your order for service or invoice. We may require payment before unloading or delivery. Late or unpaid balances may accrue fees and collection costs.

8. Prohibited uses

You must not misuse the Site, interfere with security, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated means without permission.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Site is owned by or licensed to the Company and protected by applicable laws. You receive a limited, nonexclusive, revocable license to access the Site for personal or business use related to requesting our services.

10. Disclaimer

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits. Our total liability relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Liability for moving services is governed by the bill of lading, tariff, and valuation election.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

13. Privacy

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflicts rules. Disputes will be resolved in state or federal courts located in Virginia, unless another forum is required by transportation law.
